How To Make Easy Earrings (courtesy of JewelrySupply) Hi! I’m Sarah, the designer for JewelrySupply.com. I’m gonna show you how to make a really quick and easy pair of earrings that you can wear with any outfit! The materials I’m gonna use for these are: 2 – HP525s, or, the ball-end headpins in sterling silver 2 – 10mm Swarovsky bicones in Jet AD 2 – Sterling silver french earwires 2 – BD405s, or, 4mm sterling silver, round beads The tools that you’re gonna need are: Sidecutters So, first things first! Take one of your headpins and thread on a bicone and a roundie, just like that, and then make a simple loop. OK, then cut this off, just like this. OK, now, there’s 2 ways that you can attach an earring to an earwire. The first way is to not close the loop completely on the headpin, and then attach the loop from the earwire onto the headpin, just like this, and then just continue to close it. OK, so that’s one way to do it! The other way to do it is to close the loop completely on the headpin. And, then you would open the loop on the french earwire just like you would a jump ring. So, you’re not actually going to open the loop out; instead, you’re gonna open the loop on the earwire off to the side, like that, see? Then, you attach the loop of the headpin and, just like you would a jump ring, close it the same way you opened it – just the reverse. There you go! That’s the other way to do it. Either way, this is a really quick and simple pair of earrings that you can make for any outfit that you have!
